Dear MGSD Parents and Community Members,

As the superintendent of the Mooresville Graded School District, it is my pleasure to serve this community and welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year. Our district is excited about the good things in store for this year, and we want to reiterate our dedication to fostering an environment where every student is empowered to grow, thrive, and succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are proud of our strong tradition of excellence in education, which is reflected in our students' achievements, our dedicated staff, and our supportive community. Our goal is to continue this tradition by providing innovative and engaging learning experiences that prepare our students for future success and help create a better community.

We believe that a strong partnership between the school district and the community is essential for the success of our students, district, and community. We encourage you to get involved in your child’s education and to participate in school events and activities. Building relationships of support with our families and community is invaluable to our work.

Communication is key to maintaining this partnership, and we are dedicated to keeping you informed and engaged. Please visit our district website and follow our social media channels for the latest news and updates. Additionally, make sure you have downloaded the ParentSquare app for important updates and reminders. We encourage you to reach out to your child’s teachers, school administrators, or our Central Office if you have any questions or concerns.

Together, we can create a nurturing and dynamic educational environment that inspires every student to achieve their full potential. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the Mooresville Graded School District.

Here’s to a fantastic school year ahead!

Kind regards,

Jason Gardner, Ed.D.
