MGSD Inclement Weather Plans

Hello MGSD families,

In response to the severe weather forecasted from Hurricane Helene and the fact that Iredell County is under a high wind warning starting this evening, Mooresville Graded School District buildings will be closed to students on Friday, September 27, 2024, and will operate on a Remote Learning Day. Additional information regarding the remote learning day will be forthcoming from your child’s school.

Additional important information:

  • All after school activities for Thursday, September 26, 2024, have been cancelled.

  • All before and after school activities for Friday, September 27, 2024, have been cancelled.

  • You will receive information from your school regarding rescheduling of school events/activities.

With this storm, the possibility of our community experiencing power outages, downed trees and power lines is highly possible. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of our students and staff.  We appreciate your understanding and support!  Thank you!

We are... MOORESVILLE!
